I’M JANELLE TEESDALE

I am an Industrial Designer and STEAM educator currently based in Pittsburgh, PA. Through my experiences, I have learned to apply my creative and analytical skills to solve real-world problems. Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, I witnessed many wasteful designs, which inspired me to produce sustainable, valuable products that prioritize aesthetics and function equally.

I enjoy experimenting with different media and crafts. I prefer using markers, graphite, and digital applications for my two-dimensional work. For most of my three-dimensional work, I employ physical methods, such as model-making, 3D printing, and material manipulation (including metals and wood), as well as digital software like Fusion 360, KeyShot, and Revit, among others, to bring my ideas to life.
